Plate and Mini-Column Module

In the MultiPep RSi plate configuration peptide libraries or large sets of peptides can be synthesized in up to four 96-well filter plates in parallel. For smaller numbers of specialty peptides or PNAs the mini-column module with different column sizes offers a high flexibility. If larger amounts of peptides are needed, an optional Column Module can be used to make up to 72 peptides at a scale ranging from 10-100 µmol.

Reagents are held in the reaction wells and are extracted by vacuum applied to the bottom of the reaction module. An 8-channel manifold connected to a solvent pump is used for rapid washing. The chemistry is optimized for Fmoc-based peptide synthesis with activation by PyBOP/NMM, HBTU/DIPEA or a similar protocol.
