As specimens and tissues processed vary in size and shape, different instrument configurations are available. Each work area configuration is delivered as a complete kit with thermo plate or incubation tub, specimen tray, accessories and operation software. Changing configurations just takes a few seconds.

Sample rack configurations:

Work area kit for 60 small baskets:	Up to 60 baskets with 5 mm diameter, e.g. for Medaka, Drosophila, Xenopus and small vibratome sections
Work area kit for 60 medium baskets:	Up to 60 baskets with 10 mm diameter, e.g. for chicken, mouse and medium-sized vibratome sections
Work area kit for 32 large baskets:	Up to 32 baskets with 14 mm diameter, for large vibratome sections and large specimens
Work area kit for 60 slides:	For 60 standard slides (75 mm x 25 mm x 1.0 mm)
Specimen size:	0.035-14 mm for whole mounts and vibratome sections

Operation software

The InsituPro VSi is operated by a user friendly PC based operation software. Its graphical interface shows the layout of the work area, protocol listing and other important parameters. Pre-defined template protocols make it simple to adapt your existing manual protocols. With a few clicks and copy/paste operations you can adapt even the most complex protocols within a few minutes.
