In September 2015 business operations moved to Waldhäuser Straße 64.
After a long construction phase of 9 months, the company has breathed new life into the building of the former astronomical institute in Tübingen. After the acquisition of the building complex by HB Grundstücksverwaltung GbR, those responsible began to prepare the premises for laboratory- and administrative tasks. At first construction work began in the lower and ground levels and continued in the upper floors. In the future mainly the peptidesynthesis laboratories of the INTAVIS Bioanalytical Instruments AG, a 100% subsidiary of HB Technologies AG, will have their headquarters here.  Chairman Dr. h. c. Peter Beck is pleased by the future close proximity and stated his reasons: “We were looking for a new location for our laboratories in Heidelberg and Reutlingen, when the opportunity arose to have them in the direct vicinity. So we used it and bought the said building.
Since June 1st 2015 the business operations are running in the newly renovated rooms. Next to the laboratories of the INTAVIS Bioanalytical Instruments AG, other Biotech-Companies will shortly have their offices and laboratories in the renovated building as well. By extensively modernizing with ventilation system, gas supply and further required infrastructure, the HB Grundstücksverwaltung GbR has satisfied all necessities, to meet the requirements of the new tenants. “Because we are not able to use this premises completely on our own, at first instance we get tenants on board, who are most suitable to the Technologie-Park in Tübingen in our view”, Dr. Steffen Hüttner, shareholder of HB Grundstücksverwaltung GbR, quoted. “For us, this step is a milestone in the history of HB Technologies AG, because we created space for future expansion”, Hüttner adds.
Info:
The HB Grundstücksverwaltung GbR already administrates a building in the Wissenschaftspark Obere Viehweide. In Addition to the HB Technologies AG, there are other tenants like the Max-Planck-Institute or CenTrial GmbH who have found a space for working and development here, too.
